“When you’re denied a space, you’re going to create your own space.” - Joshua Simon
Even though sex between men is still illegal due to act 377A of Singapore's penal code, journalist Sam Jo, deejay Joshua Simon and budding media student Kennede Sng are not afraid to tell it all in their fortnightly recordings.
The SG Boys started in November 2020 as a safe space for LGBT youth to openly discuss... anything and everything about what it's like to grow up gay in the little lion city.
From coming out stories to embarrassing hijinks and romantic failures, The SG Boys has since become Singapore's primary source for LGBT entertainment.
